How can the principles discussed by Viendra Lal be applied in the design of your learning environment?

ResponderEliminarAs a future teacher I think it is important to take into account that this two documents (the first reading and the video) are tools that give us a lot of information that can be used in order to develop a great learning environment. In my opinion, these tools are an excellent guide to learn how to include the different learning styles and value the diverse talents of our students. While I was reading, I found that students with disabilities are not included in some virtual activities because of their condition, it really caught my attention. I realized that we create a lot of tools for our students but these arent useful for all of them. According to this, I think that if we are involved in a teaching/learning process based on virtual environments we have to know at least what are the options to try to include this kind of students. Now just trying to bind the information, I can say that:
1. The needs of the different groups and students have to be known.
2. The teacher has to be seen as a guide or tutor during the learning process.
3. REALS have to be applied if we are lokkig for a constructivist learning.
4. Teachers and students have to learn how identify the individual learning differences.
5. The learning process has to be conceived as a dynamic conditions in which teacher and students are responsible of the results.
6. The Blom´s taxonomy as a guide to reach for the authentic learning
7. Be aware of the correct use of tools, try to participate and make use of them as frequent as possible.
8. Acquire a true commitment with learning and teaching process as individual and as a group.
9. Be prudent with the language used during our classes and with the material provided to students (emotionally sound learning)
10. Remember that teaching/ learning processes have to be constructed everyday, these are not done overnight!

En mi opinión la era de las comunicaciones trae consigo diferentes avances y retos en la educación. En ese sentido, los ambientes de enseñanza interactiva o aulas virtuales permiten un acercamiento a las sensibilidades y gustos de los alumnos actuales, ya que permiten integrar música, juegos e información de interés para niños y jóvenes con lo cual se logra optimizar el aprendizaje. Así mismo, estos espacios como lo explica Vijendra Lal permiten tener en cuenta las diferencias en el aprendizaje de los estudiantes, las cuales muchas veces son motivo de deficiencia en los procesos escolares, porque se tiende a considerar al grupo de estudiantes como una “masa homogénea” que aprende igual. De esta manera, como docente trabajaría con ambientes de aprendizaje interactivo en busca de generar soluciones a las dificultades de aprendizaje en los alumnos, motivar de manera afectiva (emociones positivas hacia el aprendizaje) y propiciar un espacio de igualdad en el que quepan los talentos, las opiniones y la persona integral. Aunque es una visión un tanto idealista creo que es posible avanzar en su consecución, si se integran las diferentes propuestas de los autores que abordaba Lal y se adaptan a las diferentes áreas de enseñanza. De la misma manera, para hacer de la enseñanza interactiva un método práctico creo que es necesario incentivar en el alumno la cultura de la autonomía y compromiso con lo que se hace; es decir aprovechar todas las herramientas interactivas que proporcionan diversión y trabajar al mismo tiempo.
ResponderEliminarAs we know, all people learn in a different way, and as teachers our mission is to include different tools of online learning which are an important and necessary strategy because these would help us to improve the students learning styles. Besides, when students use technology, they will have the chance to engage in text conversations, this will make that students are motivated and at the same time, they'll develop linguistic competence in all language skills.
ResponderEliminarThe role of the teacher will be very important because he is going to be a facilitator in classroom environments; at he same time that students are going to collect and share data, link to outside community and world and they will interact with others, I mean, they are going to take part in a collaborative learning.
So, we as teachers should think that technology is a resource that not only is going to help us to guide our students, but also, we can include materials, curriculum and activities that will be useful in our teaching and learning process.
MARTHA ROCIO AMAYA Dice: Teniendo en cuenta el avance tecnológico actual, el docente se ve en la necesidad de participar activamente en la construcción del conocimiento haciendo uso de las herramientas que éste le ofrece. En este sentido, cuando se va a crear un ambiente de aprendizaje virtual es fundamental tener en cuenta el contexto de los estudiantes, si bien no se pueden homogenizar, si es posible caracterizarlos para así considerar sus necesidades, gustos o intereses, como también el hecho de que no todos tienen las mismas orientaciones de aprendizaje, mientras algunos prefieren los retos o la autonomía, otros disfrutan más si son guiados y siguen estructuras. En conclusión, un óptimo ambiente de aprendizaje requiere la identificación de la población al que está dirigido, su contexto cultural y el contenido, dado que para que pueda significar algo para quien lo usa es necesario que no sólo sea agradable a la vista, sino que también tenga elementos que enriquezcan la adquisición del conocimiento, haciendo uso de sonidos, imágenes y que tenga en cuenta el contexto cultural del sujeto.
ResponderEliminarMe parecen muy relevantes los comentarios que han hecho Martha, Claudia, Yamile y Jessica. Ojalá estos aspectos se puedan ver reflejados en nuestros ambientes de aprendizaje.
ResponderEliminarEl ambiente de aprendizaje on-line rompe los esquemas tradicionalistas de la Escuela, favorece la exploración de nuevas formas de acceder al conocimiento direccionado de forma más personal a través del docente, ya que aunque no sea cara a cara, puede ser de forma más privada y autónoma, ya que a través de las recomendaciones de el pueden ser más específicas y coordinadas y el estudiante puede apropiarse de aquellas recomendaciones.
ResponderEliminarLa apropiación de herramientas interactivas y la conexión con el contexto del estudiante es lo que permite la efectividad del aprendizaje de cada cual, yha que mezcla las necesidades que tiene y los intereses que trae para poder aplicar de una vez a su contexto, cuando un estudiante ve la aplicabilidad de dicho proceso o conocimiento es donde realiza que eso le sirve para algo, pero si como docentes no hacemos eso evidente, todo el proceso llevado a cabo será inutil. Como docentes debemos tener en cuenta que cada estudiante es diferente, y las formas de como se acercan al conocimiento es diferente, razón por la cual, los ambientes de aprendizaje deben cubrir la mayor cantidad de expectativas respecto a esas características relevantes a nuestros estudiantes.
Lo más importante para que el ambiente de aprendizaje sea llamativo es que incluya todos los elementos multimedia posibles, ya que es eso lo que más capta la atención y entretenie, de buena manera, pues es una forma diferente de acceder al conocimiento. Logrado este objetivo, el estudiante focalizará sus propósitos en completar los elementos presentados, y cumplirá a cabalidad lo que hemos querido mostrar en el am biente, completando asi un proceso académico a cabalidad.
